I am a high school social studies teacher with a passion for life-long learning. An admitted news junkie and travel seeker, I try to keep up with the world around me; not just to satisfy my need to know, but to bring relevancy to my classroom. For every ounce of passion I have for traveling, I find the same is true for my love of being home. Travel makes you appreciate the serenity of the familiar. For every city and land I have visited, I find I increasingly cherish time spent with my husband, my two pups, and my family. I have created this blog to journal, share, and reflect upon my experience in teacher travel programs.
